Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of software solutions for label-free biosensing instruments, primarily using Python and C++.
- Collaborate with teams to integrate Matlab components and algorithms into software applications.
- Conduct testing, debugging, and performance optimization of software applications.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional, multidisciplinary, and often international teams, including engineers, scientists, and project managers, to achieve project objectives.
- Maintain accurate documentation of software designs, specifications, and testing procedures.
- Participate in quality control processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- A keen interest in Python and C++ and embedded complex software engineering projects.
- Familiarity with software development best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- A proactive and flexible approach to work.
- Interest in life sciences is a plus.
