Mr. A. Gerritsen (Sr Director, Global Head Bioanalytical Science at Genmab) obtained his BSc in Zoology & Histology at the University of applied science, Delft, The Netherlands. Since 1990 he has been involved in the field of immunology and antibodies. In 1997 he joined Medarex Europe, a subsidiary of Medarex Inc., starting up new laboratories for therapeutic antibody development. In 1999, he joined Genmab, where he held several managerial positions in the Discovery and Development of therapeutic antibodies. Currently, he holds the position of Sr Director, Global Head of Bioanalytical Science at Genmab. Throughout his career, he acquired a broad experience with assay technologies, including label-free sensing technologies to support antibody discovery and development. During 2012-2016 he served as a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of Pall Biopharmaceuticals.

Guy Dewil is an experienced senior leader with a demonstrated history of working in global pharmaceuticals and CROs, including Catalent, Syneos Health (Previously INC Research/inVentiv Health) and GE Healthcare. His unique combination of a medical background with broad scientific interests, give him the skillset to push innovation in Life Sciences and Healthcare forward. He counts over 25 years in leading and managerial positions, that provided him with the expertise of leading dynamic teams and growing revenues and profits.

Dr. Schraeml obtained his PhD in Biotechnology at the Martin Luther Universität, Halle-Wittenberg, after which he joined Scil Proteins GmbH in the position of Head of Affilin technology (development of artificial binding proteins). In 2007, he joined Roche Diagnostics GmbH, Penzberg, Germany, where started as Team Lead Biointeraction Analysis and currently holds the position of Director Antigen Design & Protein Expression Technologies. Dr. Schreaml has a vast experience in all facets of real time interaction measurement assays and label-free biosensing technologies, an area which he has been involved in since 1999.

 

Ruben van Harmelen

Ruben van Harmelen obtained his masters in Biomedical Engineering at the Univeristy of Groningen. As Product Application Specialist, his able to combine his in-depth knowledge of biology, engineering and product development and manages the assembly and deployability of Delta Diagnostics’ instruments. Ruben also delivers technical support to our customers.

 

Vanessa Jungbluth

Vanessa Jungbluth, Ph.D.

Assay Developer

Vanessa Jungbluth is a young researcher with more than 5 years of experience in the multi-disciplinary field of biosensors. She started her career at Philips Healthcare and the Austrian Institute of Technology, where she worked on optical biosensing for fast and reliable diagnosis of various medical conditions. As a MSCA fellow, she recently obtained her PhD degree in non-invasive cancer detection using plasmonic biosensing at the University of Catania in the framework of an H2020-MSCA-ITN-2017 funded project. Currently, Vanessa is working as assay developer for Delta Diagnostics, interacting with customers and partners, and expediting international collaborations.
